Founded in 1997, Berreta dove head first into the French rap scene by investing blood sweat and tears in the production of their music, writing lyrics and thus forming a hardcore and solid foundation for the group. With a remarkable style, their flows are very distinctive and the group is always looking to preserve their own style and flavor. The group paid their dues by playing over sixty venues regionally and and nationally, creating the possibilities to manage both the artistic and business affaires themselves.

By dropping the streetalbum "L'encre est dans l'chargeur" they're preparing the streets for release of the first official album in 2006. "L'encre est dans l'chargeur" features l'Algérino, Sale Equipe and others. "Locataires de blocs" is the second video for the album, and was shot by Reno for 110Plom productions.
